It Is The Cables That Kill If There Is A Fire

The thing is if a fire breaks out within the office it can spark a lot of trouble for the entire building. Most of the time it would seem it is an electrical fault that causes the problems and many times these things are noones fault. What happens if somerthing like this happens when there are people still inside the office?

Well believe it or not it is not often the fire that kills the people in the office environment but the smoke. Of course everybody knows that smoke can kill you if you inhale enough of it during a fire but what happens if a fire reaches a lot of cabling? Many workes will actually die when this happens as when te fire burns through deadly gases can sometimes be released. Hydrogen fluoride and hydrogen chloride seem to be the major two dangerous gases that are released. If you are really unlucky this chloride will mix with water and form acid which is very deadly indeed.

What can be done? Well now you can purchase “low smoke” cabling that can reduce damage to electrical things and help to stop people from dying from these nasty chemicals that are released normally.

There are many other ways that you can battle smoke problems, many types of fan accessories can be bought that will actually help fan out the smoke if there is a fire almost taking the smoke out of the room and pumping in fresh air to help take out any deadly smoke that could be in the room.

The thins is with a fire it can destroy the entire business which is why you should look into taking a few precuations. Whatever you do, make sure you do not put blame on someone, if it is someones fault they will already be suffering.
