The statement should be concrete and direct emphasizing the benefits you can bring to the company, however, it is advisable to avoid using ‘I’ because you will sound self-centered or boastful. Finally, if you intend to apply for several companies, each may require the writing of a separate resume objective.

The resume objective should not leave the impression that the applicant tries to land any job. Too vague and broad explanations would be a mistake in this resume section because they are boring and irrelevant for the job, not to mention that they won’t probably be read. If you can’t keep it concise, the resume message will be a negative one. Finally, the choice of words will influence the reception of the resume accordingly; make sure you know what to say and how to say it.
