More than just thanking and acknowledging the couple and the other people in the big event, there are some things to remember. Emotional expressions such as smiling, softening a little, or getting serious whenever applicable are important throughout the speech while still being humorous about your speech.

If there are the do’s, there are also the don’ts when making the speech. As a first reminder, never be drunk when in front to speak your message. Second to remember, never have any insulting, embarrassing or confidential anecdoates inserted in your speech. While you may be used to having foul words in your everyday language, steer clear from using any vulgar terms as these are not only inappropriate but may cause discomfort to some people as well. Do not read directly from your note as this does not make you personable when delivering the speech.

Also, stop using quotes and facts that you don’t have any concrete source of. It makes you ineffective wedding speaker as your speech statement becomes less definitive. Lastly, don’t forget the bride even everyone knows your major focus of your speech is the groom. Making best man wedding speeches will be easier if you don’t forget all these do’s and don’ts.
